Amazing how when I am in the gym I see so many training or being trained by a PT and are using poor form, doing improper excercises, and have NO concept of neutral posture
It really amazed me and 2 things stood out the most.
One, I saw a PT having a client doing behind the neck lat pulldowns and the weight was so heavy there was no full ROM, the lat bar was not straight on the pulldown, and was to heavy only did 3 reps. Talk about poor exercise, bad form, and hello neutral posture. I thought a general rule was good form over weight amount.
Second, I saw another PT with a client doing leg work. We heard the client tell the PT "they had a dull ache in the front lower leg and then went away." The PT after a few minutes asked if it still hurt and the client said no. Hello as a former soccer player I can tell you that is an early sign of shin splints and you shouldnt continue on. The concept of "no pain, no gain" is not one to train by.
Really, people pay a PT for this, to do more harm then good, makes you wonder about the facility that they work in as well.

TO ALL FIREFIGHTERS!
FIREFIGHTERS OF THE WORLD! Once again we have much love, respect and admiration for you. We did an 18 minute stair climber on low pace in full gear with tank and mask and 1 piece of added equipment, for me was an axe, and it was absolutely grueling. How you do it daily is a work of art. So once again thankyou for all you do and once again much LOVE, RESPECT AND ADMIRATION. Talk about total 3d!
